There are days when everything feels heavy.
Thoughts race. Emotions linger. The weight of old stories, old wounds, old habits… it can sit on your shoulders without warning.
And on those days, I don’t always have the answers.
But I do have music.
I’ve learned that music isn’t just something I create — it’s something that shifts me. Moves me. Lifts me out of the fog and brings me back to who I really am underneath all the noise.
There have been moments where I felt stuck, frustrated, or overwhelmed — but then I heard a melody, or played one of my own songs, and something changed. It’s like the music reaches inside and gently rewires the energy. It doesn’t erase the pain, but it softens it. It reminds me that I’m safe. That I’m strong. That I’m not alone.
When I write or listen to uplifting songs, I can literally feel my body shift. The tension in my chest loosens. My breathing slows. The heaviness starts to melt. It’s like music speaks to my nervous system in a language words can’t always reach.
That’s why I create what I create. Not just for the sound — but for the feeling it brings.
Because I know I’m not the only one carrying emotional weight. I know so many of us are walking around with invisible backpacks full of stories, expectations, and pain we’ve never voiced. And while there’s no quick fix, there is a way to shift the energy. To feel lighter. To come back to yourself.
Music has become my medicine. My reminder. My reset.
And if one of my songs can do that for someone else — even just for a few minutes — then it’s already done its job.
With love,
Adrienn 💛
