Every song I create holds a memory — a feeling, a moment in time, a shift that changed something inside me.
And sometimes, when I listen back to one of my own tracks, it’s like stepping into a time capsule. The melody takes me right back to where I was when it was born — emotionally, mentally, even physically.
Some songs remind me of the early mornings when the house was still quiet, and I was writing while my daughters slept peacefully. Others take me back to a moment of clarity during a walk by the sea, when I felt completely overwhelmed but somehow… peaceful at the same time.
There’s one song I created that, to this day, brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Not because it makes me sad, but because I remember the strength it took to write it. I remember how I felt right before — stuck between fear and faith — and how something in me chose to move forward anyway.
That’s the beautiful thing about music.
It doesn’t just reflect where you are — it remembers where you’ve been.
It reminds me how far I’ve come. How many versions of myself I’ve walked through. And how, even in my most uncertain moments, there was always a melody waiting to meet me and say, You’re doing okay. Keep going.
I think that’s why music feels so sacred to me. It holds our memories, our growth, and our courage — all wrapped into sound. And when we share it, we’re not just sharing a song… we’re sharing a piece of who we were in that moment.
So next time you hear one of my tracks, just know — there’s a story behind it.
And maybe, just maybe, it’ll connect to a part of your own.
With love,
Adrienn 💛
