This was one of the first songs I ever created, and it holds a very special place in my heart. The lyrics came from a poem I originally wrote for a letter-writing workshop, where we reflected on our past and wrote to our younger selves. I later shared it on stage during International Women’s Day in 2022.

Heart Full of Love was born from the darkness I carried from childhood — the kind of pain that often stays silent for years. It was my way of beginning to heal, to speak to the little girl in me who needed reassurance, love, and hope. This song is for her — and for every woman who’s been through silent struggles. It’s a reminder that even when life feels heavy, we are learning to grow, rise, and return to the love within ourselves.

If I could go back in time now and meet my younger self, 
I would hold her hand and offer her my help. 
I would wipe off her tears and stay by her side, 
To reassure her, that the future will be bright. 
I would give her this note to read every day, 
To take her anxiety and worries away:

“My dear little me, just remember on your weakest days,
That you are much stronger than how today it feels.
You will get the courage to walk away from the bad
And find peace, love, freedom, and clarity in your head.
You will be a great mum, the best you could ever be,
To teach your children how to be happy, bold, and free.”
