Every Song Begins With a Feeling

Every Song Begins With a Feeling

People sometimes ask me how I write songs.

The honest answer is…

I rarely begin with music.

I begin with a feeling.

Sometimes it’s a conversation I can’t stop thinking about.

Sometimes it’s a single sentence that quietly stays with me for days.

Sometimes it’s something I’ve lived through myself.

And sometimes it’s a story someone has trusted me enough to share.

I don’t sit down thinking, I need to write a song today.

I wait until something asks to be expressed.

When that moment arrives, the lyrics come first.

Over the years, I’ve learned not to force the process.

The best songs never arrive because I’m trying to be clever.

They arrive because something true wants to be heard.

That’s why every piece I create feels different.

Every story carries its own rhythm.

Its own atmosphere.

Its own emotional landscape.

Whether I’m writing one of my own songs or creating a SoulSong for someone else, my role is always the same:

To listen carefully.

To notice what matters.

And to transform emotions into something people can hear, feel and remember.

Because music isn’t simply something we listen to.

Sometimes…

it’s the place where we finally recognise ourselves.

🤍 Perhaps that’s why I don’t follow a formula.

I simply follow what feels true.

With love,
Adrienn 💛
