Every now and then, I go back and listen to one of my older songs.
Not because I want to improve it.
But because I’m curious about the person who wrote it.
Sometimes I smile.
Sometimes I’m surprised by the words.
Sometimes I realise I no longer feel the way I did when that song was born.
And that’s a beautiful thing.
Every song captures more than a melody.
It captures a version of us.
The hopes we carried.
The questions we couldn’t answer yet.
The dreams we were quietly growing into.
Looking back, I can hear my own journey.
Not because I planned it that way…
but because music remembers the chapters we often forget.
Perhaps that’s one of the greatest gifts of creating.
Years later, a song can gently remind us just how far we’ve come.
🤍 Every song preserves a moment.
Listening back lets us hear the journey.
With love,
Adrienn 💛
